The E2EVC has taken place in Prague from the 9th to the 11th of June 2017. I’m still impressed of how the things are going in this event. It’s the 3rd E2EVC I attended this year and I’m already registered for the 4th one. Here is a recap of this event:
E2EVC is a family! Alex, the organizer, is doing his best to make people talk to each other. Everything starts at the airport! The linkedin group is the place to go for organizing the cab sharing from the airport to the hotel venue. There is a new group for each event to socialize before and after the meeting.
Alex has presented the event to the newcomers (around 10 people this time) and introduce them to the “Grand Fathers”. Those guys are the hearts of the event, they have been sharing Alex’s adventures for a long time and if you have any question, they will try to give you an answer!
All the presentations are based on technical contents. The aim is to share something you know and you think someone else could be interested in. This is the reason why there is no call for papers for this event, you just have to say “Hey Alex, give me a slot, I have something to say!”.
It works! I had the opportunity of talking there during my second participation a couple of years ago. Like many people (including CTPs) E2EVC has been my first international stage as it’s the only place where there is no selection and everyone can be a speaker. So yes, it’s easy to be a speaker at E2EVC and your audience will be aware that it’s difficult to talk if front of a room full of geeks!
So again, if you want to have a great time, with a lot of technical content and for a very affordable price, you should register for the next event that will take place in Barcelona from the 17th to the 19th of November 2017.

Hope to see you there!
