On April 12-13, the first E2EVC of the year (and the 37th one) has taken place in Cape Town, South Africa. This has been the first event in Africa and it was the perfect occasion to meet local people to have some insights on the South African End User Computer market. As usual, Alex has organized a nice and friendly event. More than the content that has been really good, the exchanges we had during those days allowed us to […]

2017 is already almost over and we need to schedule our priorities for 2018 conferences. When I attended to my first E2EVC a couple of years ago in Brussel (in June 2014), I didn’t realize that this will change my, at least professional, life! I discovered a great bunch of guys and I quickly find out that becoming independent was the way to go for me! Since Brussels, I’ve attended at least 2 events per year in the following cities: […]

The E2EVC has taken place in Prague from the 9th to the 11th of June 2017. I’m still impressed of how the things are going in this event. It’s the 3rd E2EVC I attended this year and I’m already registered for the 4th one. Here is a recap of this event: E2EVC is a family! Alex, the organizer, is doing his best to make people talk to each other. Everything starts at the airport! The linkedin group is the place […]

E2EVC 2017 Tokyo

The Expert to Expert Virtualization Conference (E2EVC) was hold yesterday in Tokyo. After a great event in Sydney, I was excited to have this new experience. As already mentioned in my previous post, this conference is all about networking with peers from everywhere to talk about a global topic: virtualization. This edition was the first one in Japan and it was a real success. The different sessions were very interesting, as usual, but the better part was the discussion with […]

Director & WinRM : Sometimes size does matter!

Posted Leave a commentPosted in Citrix, Microsoft, Troubleshooting

As you may know, some features of Director rely on WinRM and you have to configure it following this article http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX125243. In large Active Directory environment, the user security token that is used to authenticate the user to the server may be larger than 16 KB. This can occur when a user is a member of many security groups. However, WinRM has a 16 KB size limit for HTTP authorization requests. Therefore, WinRM does not accept HTTP authorization requests that use […]

Posted Leave a commentPosted in Citrix, Microsoft, Troubleshooting
